Thanks for taking the time to check out Rock Harbor Christian Fellowship. We know that visiting a church for the first time can be a little daunting for many people, so hopefully the information that follows will help you get comfortable with Rock Harbor and know what to expect before you even pull into our parking lot. We want you to feel right at home here.
When & where can I join you?
Right now, we're complying with State orders and not holding any indoor gatherings at Rock Harbor. Our only in-person gathering is our outdoor worship service, every Sunday at 10:00 am. We'd love to have you join us! For those not able or ready to connect in person, we livestream our Sunday worship services at 8:30 and 10:00 am right here on our website. When the restrictions are lifted, we'll meet in person at those times while also continuing to livestream.
What are your worship services like?
Rock Harbor's services are casual, contemporary and relevant. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, the music is upbeat and contemporary, and the message is practical and biblical. If you're expecting ceremonial robes, glowing candles or unfamiliar recitations, you won't find them here! We don't pass an offering plate, either, so you won't feel pressured to give money.
What can I expect as a first-time guest?
Rest assured, we will NOT make you feel conspicuous or embarrassed. We know that many visitors like to check out the church and remain "anonymous" for awhile, and that's fine with us! Before or after the service, you're welcome to relax and have some refreshments at our lobby Coffee Bar, check out our video announcements, and look for your friends and neighbors who are part of our church family.
How should I dress?
Our "Come as you are" philosophy extends to your clothing preferences as well! At Rock Harbor, you'll find everything from shorts and flip-flops to suits and ties and everything in-between. There's no dress code here, other than the common-sense rules of basic modesty. Dress for comfort and you'll fit right in.
What about my kids?
You'll find Rock Harbor to be a family-friendly church, offering children's and youth ministries during our 10:00 service. Our modern Children's Center hosts classes and activities for kids from nursery-age through 5th grade, while our second-story Youth Room is home to Bible studies for students in middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12). All from our team of carefully-screened, youth-focused leaders who love playing, teaching and engaging with kids.
Can I connect with you to ask more questions?
Of course! We welcome your questions, concerns, prayer requests and other communications. Fill out our digital Connect Card here, or call us at 805-772-7365.
